Comments: I finally found a European ebookstore (that was not Amazon Kindle) – or so I thought…
I had used fictionwise.com for years, and then the whole atlantic divide can’t buy the books because I had a UK card turned up.
Recently, Kindle (on iPhone) has come to the rescue, but I am still slightly traditional – what happens if Amazon goes bust? I loose all my books.

I was really excited to see Waterstones.com operating AND having sensible prices. Even better it was EPUB format…. BUT then I found the FAQ saying it was wired into Adobe – and it all went downhill from there…

So, completely stymied by region! I felt actual anger about this at the time…it made me feel like my money was viewed as second class because I didn’t live in the UK or the US…
