Comments: I buy all of my ebooks through my library’s Buy It Now link in the OverDrive system so my library gets a tiny donation with all of my book purchases. When publishers don’t sell their books to my library, they don’t get my business. On this particular book, there’s no way I’m paying twenty bucks for a book I can’t try at the library first to see if it’s worth such a high sticker price. Even if it were only a two buck book I’d not be likely to buy it on principle, though.

Comments: You can get the hardback copy for less than the Ebook copy. I have been watching this book, thinking the price will come down – no changes in 6 months. This book really made me begin looking on Amazon’s website for other price discrepancies – and I have found more and more. I don’t mind paying the same as a paperback version – but to pay more than the paperback or hardback version is just crazy. I could even live with the same as the hardback version until the paperback version came out. Why I should pay more for Ebooks – despite reading all of the explanations – just perplexes me!

The first year I had my kindle I purchased approximately 50 books. I have greatly slowed down, because just on principle I am angry about increasing prices. Therefore rather than getting $9.99 per week from me, I am buying here and there and increasingly searching the free and low price books. Took all of the fun out of the Kindle for me…..

Comments: The hardcover is cheaper at Amazon. At Wal-Mart, the hardcover was $16. In either case, the paperback wasn’t an option at all because at Amazon, it was more expensive than hardcover and Wal-Mart didn’t have the paperback.
