Comments: Mantle seems to be a be a branch of Pan Macmillan. The paperback is £3.99, the digital edition nearly double. Luckily I checked the reviews when I saw the price of the digital edition to see if it was worth buying the paperback from a charity shop. Words like ‘tedious’, ‘disappointing’, ‘dreary’, ‘repetitive’ and ‘dull’ jumped out, with many mentions of poor editing and the book being much too long-winded, so I won’t bother. There are thousands of good books on Amazon worth buying.
